150 Acres,
Seen Whole

1228 McGrew Church Rd  ·  Leitchfield, Kentucky

You cannot photograph 150 acres from the ground. From the road this property is a farmhouse, a barn and a treeline. From altitude it becomes what it actually is: pasture, hardwoods and water, in two parcels a buyer can finally see at once.

01 — The Boundary Lines

Where one parcel ends and the next begins

This land is offered as two parcels – roughly 90 acres of fields and farmstead, and 60 acres of standing timber – available together or separately. That sentence is easy to write and nearly impossible to picture. So we drew it. Boundary overlays on real aerial frames show each parcel, its road frontage and how the two fit together, in one glance.

Getting the lines right took two rounds of proofs with the listing team – and every frame carries the disclaimer: approximate, for visual reference, not a survey.

02 — The Water

A pond with a dock changes the math

On a county map the pond is a blue dot. What sells is this frame: a wooden dock over still water with a fishing rod resting on the boards. The aerial shots place the pond in its pasture; the ground shots make you want to stand on it. Both belong in the gallery.

03 — The Woods

Trails already cut

Roughly 60 acres here is hardwood timber laced with ATV trails. We carried the camera into the woods on foot and along the trails, then matched that footage in the video edit – because a buyer shopping for recreational land wants to know they can ride it the day they close.

How the Shoot Came Together

Timing

Flown on a clear spring day with the canopy fully leafed out, so pasture and timber read as distinct textures from altitude.

Compliance

Flown by an FAA-Licensed and fully insured pilot, with airspace checked and cleared before launch.

Delivery

Boundary-overlay stills delivered first – they are what a land listing runs on – with the full photo set and a 4K cinematic edit following within days.

Why aerial imagery works for land listings

Acreage, frontage, water and timber are the numbers that justify a land price, and none of them fit in a ground-level frame. A listing that says 150 acres is a claim. An aerial photograph with a drawn boundary is proof – and it answers the first three questions every land buyer asks before they ever call: where does it start, where does it end, and what is actually inside the line.

Overlays also give the agent something a plat map never will: a scroll-stopping hero image for the MLS, a video that holds attention on social, and a set of frames that let two parcels be marketed together or apart without a word of explanation.
